  • The STOP THE BLEED Coalition
  • The STOP THE BLEED American College of Surgeons

In addition, data may be shared with our training centers:

  • Allied 100, LLC
  • BLS Training Center, LLC
  • Lewis Medical Training and Support, LLC

Each of these entities has its own privacy policies, which we do not control.

How We Handle Your Data:

  • Information collected during class is stored securely and shredded when no longer needed in accordance with instructor regulations.
  • We may use your data to send certification reminders, generate invoices, or process payments. Your payment information may be stored via bookkeeping software, which is bound by law to safeguard your personal data.
  • We may also use your information for participation in our Health and Wellness Program and Coaching.

Your information is stored as part of our business data in accordance with New Jersey Small Business Laws, and we use security software to protect data on our computers.

Important Notice: While we make every effort to protect your personal information, by using our site and registering for classes or health coaching, you acknowledge that there is always a risk of data breaches by individuals who may hack systems without warning. How long we retain your data

Comments:
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically, without placing them in a moderation queue.

Registration for Classes:
The information used to register for classes is stored in compliance with the guidelines of our training centers and organizations, including the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Health and Safety Institute, The STOP THE BLEED Coalition, and other organizations that require this data to issue certifications. This data must be retained for a minimum of 3 years, as per the organizational requirements.

Health and Wellness:
For those participating in Health Coaching, your data will be stored to ensure personalized guidance throughout your health journey. You may request the deletion of this data at any time. If you choose to create an account with PLEXUS Worldwide as part of your wellness plan, their privacy policies will apply to your account and data.

Payments:
We utilize WAVE, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle for payment collection, among other possible platforms. These services store your payment data and are bound by their own privacy policies. Please review their terms when making payments. Additionally, we are required by NJ State Laws for Small Business Operations to retain payment information for accounting purposes. This information is securely stored using accounting software with encryption and may be accessed by our business accountants, strictly for operational purposes. It will not be shared with any third party for other uses.

User Profiles:
For users who register on our website (when applicable), we store the personal information provided in your user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except for their username. Website administrators also have access to see and edit this information as needed.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
